Considerations
This was the most extensive academic project made for MID so far and there were many lessons learned. The primary research and usability tests with real users guided the process and it showed in the final, validated prototype. After 2 rounds of tests, first with wireframes and then the hi-fi prototype, users were satisfied with the experience on the proposed interface.
This is a product with very diverse users, so it was valuable to talk to some of them and learn different perspectives. But in the end, many of the issues were the same and patterns emerged as opportunities for improvement. Throughout the process, we kept in mind Amazon's and Prime Video's goals and the user needs to try and deliver a more satisfying experience.
In a real, paid project, the next step here would be to keep testing this version, organise the new results and feedbacks and iterate. There's always room for incremental improvement in a large product such as Amazon Prime Video.
